A Yale School of Public Health study projects that universal health coverage through a Medicare for All-style system could save more than $1 trillion and about 114,000 lives annually. The modeled savings come from lower drug prices, Medicare-level provider payments, reduced administrative overhead and fraud, and fewer avoidable emergency visits and hospitalizations, while accounting for additional spending on unmet needs and dental care. The authors note important uncertainties, including modeled mortality risks for underinsured people and omitted transition costs and provider responses.

Cursor is launching Origin, an early-beta code-hosting service for paid users that supports repositories, pull requests, code browsing, and synchronization with GitHub. 🔥 Mojo is now open source
